Shirt Design Customizer ("we", "our", or "us") is a Shopify app that enables merchants to offer product customization to their customers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you install and use our app.

1. Information We Collect

When you install the app, we collect:

• Your Shopify store domain and access tokens required to operate the app
• Product and variant data needed to enable customization on your store
• Order information for billing and fulfillment purposes
• Customer-uploaded artwork files and customization session data

2. How We Use Information

• To provide the product customization service on your storefront
• To generate print-ready production files for orders
• To calculate and apply usage-based billing charges
• To maintain session state during the customer design process

3. Data Storage

Store and session data is stored securely in our database hosted on a private server. Customer-uploaded artwork and generated production files are stored in Amazon S3 with private access controls. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to operate the service (e.g., cloud storage providers).

4. Customer Data

Artwork uploaded by your customers is stored temporarily to support the order fulfillment process. We process this data solely on your behalf as a data processor under your store's privacy policy. You are responsible for ensuring your customers are informed about how their data is used.

5. Data Retention

We retain session and order data for as long as your app is installed. Upon uninstallation, your store data is deleted within 30 days in accordance with Shopify's data retention requirements.

6. GDPR & Data Requests

We support Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks:

• Customer data requests: We will provide any stored customer data upon request
• Customer data erasure: We will delete customer data upon request
• Shop data erasure: All shop data is deleted within 30 days of app uninstallation

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), private cloud storage, and access-controlled databases to protect your data.
